15. The Unanswerable Questions and the Perfection of Order

To begin with, where did the singularity, which exploded to form the universe, come from? How long was the singularity hovering in an unimaginable space?

If ‘time’ began with the Big Bang, and space non-existent before the event, can the above question be put in perspective? Was the formation of the singularity and its explosion as the Big Bang, spontaneous? If space did not exist before the Big Bang, where did the universe expand into? In short, where is the universe hanging around and what is beyond the edges of the universe?

In life sciences, the life forms being varied in diversity, the question is about the beginning of the life structure. The RNA, as we saw, forms the base of living organisms. How did the RNA molecule come ‘alive’ in the first place and, more specifically, why? Why was it the carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen atoms responsible for the specific arrangement which ultimately became self-regenerative? They could have stayed inanimate like the rocks and sand around them.

With a multitude of molecules spread across the universe, what factor contributed to these specific molecules to become reproductive? The fact remaining that these molecules became aware (in a primitive sense), why didn’t any other set of molecules with heavier and stable atoms like iron, aluminium, etc., attempt to form a structure like RNA? What factor or force kicked into the molecules to become self-sustaining?

All the processes we saw in the pages afore were a result of an explosion event, which we know not why it occurred. Some say it was the work of God, while some others believe that this chain of events couldn’t have happened in a better way, since we are living proof that. Had any error occurred, we wouldn’t be here talking about the same! The synchronicity of events seems too perfect for the human mind to believe that an external factor like a ‘God’ is involved in it and guides the events in such precise manner.

Can this be true? We usually exclude the many flaws in the design, like diseases (both genetic and acquired), antiparticles, black holes stopping time etc. and think everything’s perfect in the God’s plan. But, is it now?
